NCHM JEE 2022 ‘Online Application Coming Soon’ – What is NCHMCT JEE? Eligibility? Exam pattern?

The National Testing Agency is expected to publish the official brochure and application form for the 2022 NCHM JEE (National Council for Hotel Management Joint Entrance Examination) soon. According to a recent notice put in place for the exam, applicants can expect to receive the application form and notification soon. The filling of the application form can start on the official website, nchmjee.nta.nic.in.

As of now, there is no tentative date regarding the release of the NCHM JEE 2022 application form. However, the expectation is high that we may see the application form this month only. Indeed, in the year 2021 and 2020, the same was announced in the month of February 2021 and January 2020. Candidates were also given an email id and a support number which they can use to know about the exam .

NCHM JEE is an online test conducted by NTA to enable admission of deserving candidates into 3 years B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration course. Candidates who pass the entrance exam have a chance of gaining admission into any of the 71 IHMS colleges nationwide. Final admission is given solely on the basis of merit and rank noted by candidates in the written examination.

Eligibility and exam model

The basic eligibility to appear in the NCHM JEE 2022 is to have achieved class 10+2 from a recognized board with minimum passing scores. Apart from this, the minimum age limit is 17 years old while the upper age limit is 25 years old for the non-reserved category.

According to the NCHM JEE 2022 exam pattern, the written exam will be conducted in online mode. The exam will consist of 200 questions divided into five sections, namely Logical Reasoning and Deduction, Numerical Ability and Analytical Aptitude, General Knowledge and Current Affairs, English Language and Service Industry Aptitude. The test takes place over a period of 3 hours. Apart from this, there is a prescribed scoring system of 4 points for each correct answer and a 1 point deduction for each incorrect answer. The exam questions must be bilingual i.e. English and Hindi.
