The Dan Patch Awards Banquet annually honors the best and brightest performers, human and equine, from the previous season. Winners are selected by the USHWA, with all winners announced in advance, except for Pacer of the Year, Trotter of the Year, and Horse of the Year, which will be announced the evening of the banquet. The USHWA will hold its annual director’s meeting on Saturday (February 19) and its general membership meeting the morning of the banquet.
