Registration for PDG 2022 is now live, the lineup of games revealed and the website is already struggling to keep up

After a year’s absence, Community Effort Orlando returned to the main offline fighting game majors stage in a massive way to close out 2021, and they plan to go even further this time around.

Registration is now officially open for CEO 2022 with the full range of games available to enter revealed, and many players have already lined up at the digital gate to participate.

Just minutes after going live at 6:00 PM EST, founding CEO Alex Jebailey noted on Twitter that their website had already been overloadedbut registration via Smash.gg is still operational.

There are 18 games in total included in the official event with The King of Fighters 15, Guilty Gear Strive, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Street Fighter 5: Champion Edition, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, Mortal Kombat 11, Dragon Ball FighterZ, Melty Blood: Type Lumina, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Tekken 7, Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo, Capcom vs SNK 2, and Granblue Fantasy: Versus make up the main events.

Other fighters featured in the lineup are BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle, BlazBlue: Central Fiction, Def Jam: Fight for NY, Soul Calibur 6, and Street Fighter 3 Third Strike.

Early Bird registration is available now for US$90, with each main tournament entry fee costing an additional $10 to register. A weekend spectator badge will cost you $65.

Given that the CEO 2021 signup for some games filled its capacity minutes or hours after it went live last year, it might be a good idea to jump on it sooner rather than later if you’re serious about wanting it. attend – although they don’t seem to. have shared participant caps for 2022 at this time.

Jebailey however revealed that the the main hotel for the CEO booking had apparently already sold out within minutes, but some rooms are still available by going to the Hilton website and manually using the discount code CEOG22. They will also be working to add more hotels/rooms in the coming week.

CEO 2022 is scheduled to take place June 24-26 at the Hilton Daytona Beach Oceanfront Resort in Daytona Beach, Florida.
