New Library Meeting Room Booking System Coming Soon | Albion new era

ALBION – The Noble County Public Library is delighted to announce that we have received a grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services, enabling us to purchase Communico, software that allows our customers to book our meeting rooms and easily consult our calendar. of events.

Customers can reserve a room for meetings or private parties by going to our website, myncpl.us, and clicking on the “Reserve a Room” tab.

To stay up to date on programs at NCPL, simply click on the “Events” tab. You can sort by location, age group or type of event. Click the calendar icon to see the whole month at once.

Preschool Storytime will be Tuesday, February 15 and 22 at 9:15 and 10:30 a.m. or Thursday, February 3, 17 and 24 at 6 p.m. February’s theme will be “sweets”. Delicious!

PaLS Play and Learn Storytime will take place on Tuesday, February 8 at 9:15 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. or Thursday, February 10 at 6 p.m. The theme is hibernation and each participating family will receive a free copy of the book Snuggle Down Deep by Diane Ohanesian.

Afterschool Unplugged: Valentine’s Day. We’re going to bake Valentine’s Day pretzels and play a Valentine’s Day themed headband game. Feb. 8, 3-4 p.m. for first year at CN Elementary School. February 15, from 3 to 4 p.m. for the second year at CN Elementary School. February 22, 3:30-4:30 p.m. for third grade at CN Elementary School. Valentine’s Day blind taste test, Thursday, February 17 at 4 p.m. Taste Valentine’s Day chocolates and try to guess the chocolate flavor. The person with the best sense of taste will win a prize!

Craft therapy: DIY resin pendants; Class in two parts. Part One, Tuesday, February 15 at 6 p.m. Part Two Wednesday, February 16 at 6 p.m. Learn how to use epoxy resin and alcohol inks to create beautiful pendants.

Book club, Thursday, February 24 at 6 p.m. We will discuss the book “The Four Winds” by Kristin Hannah.

All NCPL branches will be closed on Monday, February 21 for President’s Day.
