Kaua’i Interscholastic Federation Online Ticket Office Opens

LIHU’E — On Tuesday, the Kaua’i Interscholastic Federation announced that ticket sales for men’s volleyball events, including the one scheduled for this Friday at Bernice Hundley Gym, will go live.

“I got my tickets,” said Joyce Evens, a teacher at Waimea High School who manages the school’s livestream events. “I had to try the new system to see if it worked. The link for ticket sales is on the school website on the homepage. You follow the link and it gives you options like school home games, KIF season. Once you have found the game you are looking for, you purchase your tickets.

The online provider will be TicketSpricket, the same provider used by the O’ahu Interscholastic Association.

Tickets for a particular game will be active one week before the scheduled contest date.

“We understand that there will be some learning curve, and even growing pains, so we are initially starting with one sport – men’s volleyball,” said KIF Executive Secretary Erik Burkman. “We plan to be exclusively online, or close to it, for all Fall 2022 sporting events where tickets are required for entry.”
