New York, NY – February 27, 2020 – Highgate, a leading hotel management and property investment company, today announced the acquisition of Heavlin Management Company, LLC (“HMCâ€), a hotel management company with over 30 years of experience operational headquartered in Chandler, Arizona. Heavlin Management Company oversees nine branded properties across Arizona and two independent properties in Alaska. Pursuant to the purchase, Highgate will assume management of all properties in HMC’s portfolio.

The properties of the portfolio acquired include:

  • Crowne Plaza Phoenix Airport, Arizona
  • Four Points by Sheraton Phoenix South Mountain, Arizona
  • Hampton Inn & Suites Scottsdale Riverwalk, Arizona
  • Phoenix Airport, Arizona
  • Hilton Tucson East, Arizona
  • Holiday Inn & Suites Hotel Phoenix Airport North, Arizona
  • Holiday Inn Phoenix Chandler, Arizona
  • Sheraton Phoenix Airport Hotel in Tempe, Arizona
  • Doubletree Tucson (opening December 2020, Arizona
  • Edgewater Inn Restaurant and Marina, Alaska
  • Salmon Falls Resort, Alaska

Founded by CEO Frank Heavlin, Heavlin Management Company owns and operates Arizona’s large portfolio of hotels in Phoenix, Scottsdale and Tucson. In addition, HMC owned and operated two hotels in Alaska. Frank Heavlin will continue to work with Highgate to help develop the platform in the future.
