Bulgaria will welcome its first MGallery hotel this spring

Accor

The Emporium Plovdiv – MGallery will make its debut this spring in the Bulgarian city of Plovdiv.

The Accor hotel collection leaves its mark on a historic building transformed with a new design concept integrating smart technology and neighborhood stories.

Celebrating local heritage

Upon opening in spring 2022, Emporium Plovdiv – MGallery will introduce guests to the European Cultural Capital of 2019 and Bulgaria’s second largest city, Plovdiv.

This hotel recaptures and preserves the original features of the former department store and local landmark, Evmolpia. Original architectural features have been integrated into the design of the hotel, which fuses a reflection of Bulgarian history with modern design.

This will be the first property in the Balkans where the chain will showcase its concept of smart rooms enhancing the hotel experience with innovative technology.

The property is centrally located and within walking distance of sites such as the Roman Forum, the Roman Stadium and the UNESCO World Heritage sites: the Episcopal Basilica of Philippopolis and the Old Town.

Designed for customers and residents

This five-star property has 61 rooms, including 12 suites, equipped with technology that allows guests to set the mood and control audio-visual functions. It will also be the first establishment in the chain to offer luxury Fragonard cosmetics.

The winner Sisters Sundukovy S + S The design company led the design of the interiors of this property and the French company Shams Conseils Paris developed the hotel’s signature scent.

Facilities here will include relaxation and fitness areas and venues for guests and locals alike, including the country’s only Moët & Chandon champagne and cocktail bar.

Dining experiences here include the Torro Premio gourmet restaurant, showcasing local produce in modern Bulgarian dishes, and the Torro Grande restaurant and sushi bar.
