Fort Lauderdale, Florida (March 13, 2020) – Conrad Fort Lauderdale Beach, a luxury beachfront resort in South Florida, today announced the appointment of Brian David Douglas as Spa Director for the 290-suite resort located on exclusive North Beach in Fort Lauderdale.
Douglas will be responsible for directing all operations of the property’s CONRAD spa to provide guests with an unparalleled ambience, experience and intuitive service. Dual licensed as an Esthetician and Massage Therapist, the spa aficionado brings over 13 years of industry experience to Conrad Fort Lauderdale Beach.

Prior to joining Conrad Fort Lauderdale Beach, Douglas owned his own spa, David Douglas Spa, for four years, where he was named Global Spa & Wellness Award Winner by American Spa Magazine and Top Spa for Men by Luxury Travel Advisors Magazine, in more receiving an honor from the Town of Wilton Manors in October 2018.
His previous experiences include obtaining certification as a medical massage therapist and working as a resident massage therapist for a North Carolina hospital for five years. As part of an integrative program, he has also worked alongside doctors, surgeons and an acupuncturist to develop treatments for postoperative care and patients with chronic pain.
