Arctic Monkeys sign deal to headline Glastonbury 2023 ten years after last Pyramid Stage appearance
The Arctic Monkeys have reportedly signed up to headline the Glastonbury Music Festival in 2023.
The Sheffield band have reportedly already started preparations for the gig, which will be their third time playing at the iconic festival and 10 years since their last appearance on the famous Pyramid Stage.
A source told The Sun on Monday: “Alex Turner and the band return to Glastonbury, and this time their set will be bigger and better.”

“The guys have signed on the dotted line and will return to the Pyramid stage next June.
“It’s really special for them to get a hat-trick on this stage and it’s something they’ve wanted to do for a while.”
“After the festival dates were aligned with their upcoming tour, they said they couldn’t play there anymore.
“The band are assembling their squad and working to make their performance one of Glastonbury’s most memorable.”

The band – which along with frontman Alex, 36, includes guitarist Jamie Cook, 37, bassist Nick O’Malley, also 37, and drummer Matt Helders, 36 – announced details last week. their massive new tour of the UK and Ireland.
But they left a hole in the dates which coincide with Glastonbury 2023, which will take place from June 21-25.
Their tour will begin in May 2023 and will include two huge return shows at Sheffield’s Hillsborough Park.
Supporting bands for the entire tour are The Hives and The Mysterines, with the band’s new album ‘The Car’ due out October 21, which will feature the single ‘There’d Better Be a Mirrorball’ plus ‘I Ain’t Quit”. Where I think I am’.
The tour comes a month after Arctic Monkeys announced their seventh studio album titled The Car.
Taking to Instagram last month, the Sheffield band revealed that their new 10-track studio album will be available on October 21.
The unexpected announcement of their new album – four years after the release of their last album Tranquility Base Hotel and Casino – sent AM fans into a tizzy.
